It's been quite a while since we've promoted anyone to the "Elite Members" group here on the forums, so it's about time we added some new members who deserve to be recognized for their contributions over the years.

Without further ado, here's the list of 12 members we (the admins and mods) have chosen, in order of registration date:

Mike, Dempsey, RaceProUK, Anubis, aNILEator, Matti, Eljay, John Anderton, Chris4, absorbation, djdannyp, and Spunky

Keep up the good work, guys (well, those of you who are still active, anyway :p).

For anyone who feels left out, don't worry, it won't be another 3 years before we do this again... :angel:

Thanks a lot. Its been a privilege being here on the forum and helping out on IRC. It has certainly taught me a lot from my days of being a newb to being.. well a smaller newb now :)

err 3 years? I've been here for nearly 5 years and I've never seen a change on the staff page.. none what so ever

Should we e-mail some of the guys who we've not heard from in years?
For eg Anubis (4 years or so since he's been a regular?) and RaceProUK (2 years at least since I heard from him :()

I think TReKiE was the most recent addition, and that was 3 years ago. But it's true that most of the Elites were chosen 5+ years ago, which is one of the main reasons we wanted to add some new members.

I'd like to thank everybody here on the forums for the great support and making this place always fun to visit. In the past years, I've learned a lot here from others and I think it's only appropriate to share my knowledge with others. That's why I love these forums, and that's also why I'll probably be here for many years to come. :)

Luckily I was randomly talking to John Anderton on Twitter and decided to click the link to his website/blog. Then I saw he'd posted about being made an Elite, so I clicked the link to this thread and to my surprise I'm on the list too. :D I'm not as active as much as I used to be (due to university), but this may tempt me to come back more often. :P Means a lot, thanks!
