I just remembered, there was some sort of an upgrade issue with Live Messenger while the initial install, I had to restart and than it was suddenly fixed. I'm gonna re-install Live Messenger to be on a safe side, though I can't figure out how to un-install it first, can't do it through the Control Panel and the installer doesn't have an un-install option, any suggestions? RE: PHILIPS Messenger Phone & Live Messenger issue. by djdannyp on 10-27-2009 at 07:18 PM In order to remove Windows Live Messenger you must remove "Windows Live Essentials" from the Programs & Features menu RE: PHILIPS Messenger Phone & Live Messenger issue. by CrimL on 10-27-2009 at 07:30 PM

What happens if you run the installer again? Does it tell you that the Messenger component is installed? RE: PHILIPS Messenger Phone & Live Messenger issue. by CrimL on 10-27-2009 at 07:47 PM Yea, it tells me that the Messenger is installed. And I can't do the System Restore because apart from AntyVirus Live Messenger was the first thing I installed after System Upgrade. RE: PHILIPS Messenger Phone & Live Messenger issue. by djdannyp on 10-27-2009 at 07:56 PM Try using ZapMessenger to remove Messenger and then re-install it RE: PHILIPS Messenger Phone & Live Messenger issue. by CrimL on 10-27-2009 at 08:08 PM
quote: Thank you for the soft, I've re-installed Live Messenger and Device Manager, still getting the same error, I guess it's Win 7. I'll try running a second User in a Win XP SP2 mode to see if maybe that will work. RE: PHILIPS Messenger Phone & Live Messenger issue. by CrimL on 10-27-2009 at 08:25 PM
