Hi.

After installing MsgPlus! I am unable to send/receive files in Messenger.
When I send a file, the transfer takes a few seconds to start but then starts, finishes and says the file was successfully sent.
However, the recipient of the file is told that the file is transferring but the progress bar is not moving and then it says "You have failed to receive file "bla-bla-bla.jpg" from XxXx."
This also happens when trying to receive files only then, it's me who gets the error.
So it seems that whoever is sending a file sees it sent with no errors, while the receiver of the file gets the error message.
I tried uninstalling MsgPlus! and then file transfer worked splendidly.
Therefore, my conclusion is that MsgPlus! is creating the bug.

My software:
OS - Windows Vista Home Premium Build 6002 - Service Pack 2 - English
Messenger - Windows Live Messenger Build 14.0.8089.726
MsgPlus! - Messenger Plus! Live 4.83.372

My friend's software:
Mac OSX 10.5.8
Messenger - Adium 1.3.8
MsgPlus! - Not installed

Have you tried sending a file to any other friends to test?

Perhaps ones using Windows Live Messenger?

Is the problem isolated to this one contact?
