With windows 7 with msgplus installed When i click on msn quick launch when its started instead of showing straight away, it has 2 window options, both opening MSN, however i only want one, the oringal

you can run it in compatibility mode but it will run with less features than normal. this is not recommended, the recommended solution is to just get used to having the two windows, and it is actually quite good once you get used to it as you are able to close the main contact list and easily open it back up...

if you want more reasons why not to use compatibility mode, search the forums for it...

(also this is a new feature of wlm9 + windows 7, and has nothing to do with Messenger Plus! Live)

Really, strange. I didn't have this problem till I installed MSGplus

It's the same without Plus!. It's not a problem, but just the way Windows 7 works.

Getting used to it is indeed the better solution. Setting compatibility mode can introduce ll kinds of other problems, and you'll get used to it soon enough .
