Hey. What skin is it? Could you provide a link to it?
The reason it's happening is because part of the skin is the black text area.
It may be possible to modify it to remove this.

You mean, the background change? It's because of the skin: it remaps that chat rectangle background to the whole window. 
Você quer dizer o plano de fundo? É porque a capa remapea o background daquele retângulo pra janela completa.

Would have some way of removing this "white / black" for the wallpaper
