Maybe, and it just went again. I've tried it on my Wii and DSi - they all go at the same time... RE: Forum down? by Chrissy on 03-21-2010 at 02:13 PM Try using Open DNS and see if the problem still happens. RE: Forum down? by whiz on 03-21-2010 at 02:46 PM Well, it's working at the moment. I'll have to wait and see... RE: Forum down? by Chris4 on 03-21-2010 at 07:51 PM
It keeps going down for me too. RE: Forum down? by Th3rmal on 03-21-2010 at 07:56 PM
quote: RE: Forum down? by Chrissy on 03-21-2010 at 08:01 PM It's perfectly fine here with me. Maybe I'm not on as much but, I don't notice a thing. RE: Forum down? by blessedguy on 03-21-2010 at 08:48 PM No problems here, too. RE: Forum down? by Spunky on 03-21-2010 at 08:51 PM
Had problems here just too... Needed a couple of refreshes. RE: Forum down? by djdannyp on 03-21-2010 at 09:28 PM Can't say I've noticed anything and I'm on pretty much all the time RE: Forum down? by Nagamasa on 03-22-2010 at 02:00 AM

quote:I'm not from UK quote:This is the only site thats doing this for me RE: Forum down? by Discrate on 03-22-2010 at 06:25 AM The site was playing up before. RE: Forum down? by whiz on 03-23-2010 at 03:51 PM
It's been down again! I've just managed to get on again... RE: Forum down? by wj on 03-23-2010 at 04:52 PM No problems from what I could see. Probably a DNS issue, Next time it happens try using OpenDNS or 4.2.2.2 to see if you can resolve the server IP properly. RE: Forum down? by andrey on 03-23-2010 at 04:58 PM
next time you can't reach the website, run code:in the command prompt for some basic debugging. if nslookup fails or tracert says something like "unable to resolve..", it's a dns issue - try using the msghelp.net ip directly (http://64.62.180.102/) or, as wj suggested, switching to OpenDNS RE: Forum down? by Hank on 03-23-2010 at 09:37 PM the forum has been fine for me, aint had a problem RE: Forum down? by Chrissy on 03-24-2010 at 03:29 PM http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ RE: Forum down? by Chris4 on 05-01-2010 at 02:05 PM
Experiencing the problem again now. quote: http://64.62.180.102/ - Works fine. ipconfig /flushdns - Successful. nslookup msghelp.net - Can't find msghelp.net: Server failed. tracert msghelp.net - Unable to resolve target system name msghelp.net. ...switching to OpenDNS fixed the problem. RE: Forum down? by Chris4 on 08-04-2010 at 03:42 AM
On a related note, I'm unable to access http://www.msgpluslive.net/ at the moment. RE: Forum down? by wj on 08-04-2010 at 04:23 AM "General Failure" in a ping usually means a problem with your machine, usually firewall related. RE: Forum down? by kotjze on 08-04-2010 at 01:05 PM
Sometimes when I click my bookmark for here, Chrome tells me how it can't find the site or something like that. It either will say to try reloading the page or to view a cached copy, but then I just click the bookmark again and it works. I can remember it doing this since the end of last year, on different computers and connections RE: Forum down? by Chris4 on 08-05-2010 at 12:27 AM
quote:Found the problem - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. With 'Website Blocking' turned on, it blocks access to msgpluslive.net Just searched their forum and I see Nathalie has attempted to report it, without getting anywhere. RE: Forum down? by djdannyp on 08-05-2010 at 06:10 AM
Wow, that guy has a serious vendetta. RE: Forum down? by Menthix on 08-05-2010 at 09:51 PM
quote:Update on that one: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopi...=findpost&p=295857 Looks like this guy also is responsible for eset nod32 blocked messenger plus 4.85. He said he shares his "details" with Eset... Eset told me an "independent tester(non ESET employee)" confirmed their findings... and both apps seem to have added signatures against Plus! along the same timeframe. RE: Forum down? by Kafman on 08-05-2010 at 10:39 PM
So we can say that he's the moron behind that causes that ESET and Malwarebytes blocks Messenger Plus!... quote:What's worst is that he tries to excuse it by saying that the software he runs for making the video does that. And after saying that, he claims that every installation he has make about Plus! is slow... reading that tells me that he have a celeron 851 Mhz with 256 of RAM for testing purposes or his main pc it's a crap. RE: Forum down? by Menthix on 08-05-2010 at 10:48 PM
quote:Can't get the video to play, tried MediaPlayer and VLC, but he's using a weird codec. Would like to see it though, probably hilarious . RE: Forum down? by Lou on 08-05-2010 at 10:57 PM
quote:Considering everything he uses seems to be "well known", that's highly unlikely . He's obviously an idiot. RE: Forum down? by Menthix on 08-05-2010 at 11:52 PM Well known to be a massively outdated codec according to google RE: Forum down? by Kafman on 08-06-2010 at 12:00 AM
quote:I was about to download it, but when my download transfer drop from 208 kb/s to 48 kb/s in 10 seconds... well, I'm not going to waste one hour and five minutes because of that shitty server where he uploaded that video: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6890152/lolwat.png And what's worst is that isn't playing... what a fail...
