If Patchou is going to be in Toronto for this event (like he usually is) who would be interested in meeting up on the 28th for the annual Jack Asstor's dinner?

I, for sure, am interested and I know Joa is as well. And besides it would be the first time I have gone.

I know there was a thread about this I couldn't find it.

If someone can find me a way to get to Toronto and back <$100. I'll be there.

Checking ViaRail now it'll be $144 and that's making me mad. Anybody have coupons or alternative methods Ottawa -> Toronto? :p

For the price I might as well take a $34 train ride to Montreal, and then albert can drive me :zippy:

I'll take a look at the following 2 when August comes around, they seem to be around $20-30 one way which is more my kind of deal :p

Well guys here is the situation. It is quite an unfortunate turn of events.

My oldest cat is 18 years old. Unfortunately it is time for her to be put down. She isn't doing well. I have had her since I was 7 years old. The only day we are able to get to the vet is Saturday. Unfortunately I have to miss the dinner.

Well, from what I can tell the only people attending so far are myself, trekie, sonicsam, val and shawnz. maybe joa and wacky seems unlikely. anyone else that hasn't posted yet?

For those who do want to come and are in the Toronto area, dinner will be at Jack Astor's on Front St W tentatively at 6pm 7pm on Saturday. (Yoshitaka Amano's autograph session is at 6pm, Patchou would kill me if I missed it)
