There is a wired problem Happened to me

i have NOKIA 5800 XPRESS MUSIC

TODAY I TRY TO SWITCH ON THE BLUETOOTH

IT DON'T WANT TO SWITCH ON AND SAY THIS ERROR:

: Unable To Perform Bluetoth operation :
I need help please[/color]

I have the same phone but have never experienced that problem.

Have you tried backing up all your files then doing a master reset?

Type *#7370* to do it, but make sure you back up via File Manager first.

That should fix it. If it doesn't, you should contact Nokia.

See what other people did who experienced the same problem.

I Just Tried Now the Formatting it Formated But still da same problem Any more suggestion ?

Here's what should help:

Update the phone to the latest firmware.
Turn the bluetooth on, then off.
Completely drain the battery, remove it for 1 minute and fully recharge it.
After it's FULLY charged take it out for a minute, back in, bluetooth on and it should work.

Someone reported that updating the firmware actually caused the problem, which seems to be your case.

So now there'd be no harm in checking for further firmware updates, one which may fix the problem.

If there isn't, you need to contact Nokia directly. They caused the problem, there's nothing more you can do.

Not that it helps, but just to report that mine works fine with Bluetooth on the very latest firmware

Please answer my question first: Which firmware version do you have? Check by pressing *#0000#

Edit: Someone with the same problem and same phone fixed the problem by doing a hard reset. Are you sure you did it correctly? Try this "3-finger solute" method too.

Edit2: On the Nokia Support Forums they found no solution, you have to go to your nearest Nokia Service Centre. You don't need to pay them anything, just get them to look at it.

1st answer : my frimware version V 50.005

2nd answer :   i tried hard reset it dont work

3rd answer : i tried to do the green +red +camera keys (( DONT WORK ))

4th answer : i will try to go to nokia services

The instructions are on that page, as clear as can be.

It's just another method of doing a hard reset, which you say you've already done, so it wouldn't help anyway.

Take your phone to Nokia Service Centre or try posting on their support forums or try emailing Nokia Support.

Mine is on:

Software version: 50.00.005
Software version date: 23-03-2010

Custom version: 50.00.005.C02.01
Custom version date: 26-03-2010

I wish my phone would update to 50.0.005, but it insists that 40.x is the latest version. The website says differently...



Looking on their support forums, many appear to not like it, so guess I should be thankful.

Try checking through the Ovi Suite, that's how I got the update

You'll have to research into downgrading your firmware.

Some say it's not possible, others say it can be done.

yes its blocked in my mobile

But what u mean in your country ?!

The way I read your post was Bluetooth's frequencies are banned in your country so the updates disabled it's functionality.

Unless, it's just not working then that's a different story.

Either way, you need to update it to your phones firmware.

Updating pc drivers for your PC bluetooth will not make your phone bluetooth work.

OK..i will but i mean can i uodate MOBILE SOFTWARE DRIVER.....like in comupters you can  updtate driver im asking could be in cellphones?!
