Temporarily turned off adblock and saw this. Is this acceptable?

Those kind of ads unfortunately have been around for years now. Adsense doesn't seem to care :(.

Do not pay or send SMS/text messages to download Live Messenger or Messenger Plus!

They likely shouldn't but in the above scenario you would assume that people have already downloaded WLM and are now downloading Messenger Plus!. But agreed they are not acceptable.

There are many people that think Messenger Plus! is the messenger client out there :P

Well I guess we have to hope people don't click them or are at least smart enough to have some security which will tell them they're doing wrong.

Thanks guys for raising awareness.  There are also sites pointing users to old or  versions of Messenger Plus! Live.  There's no reason someone should have to pay to download Messenger Plus! Live (when they can get the most updated and safest version for free).
