Hello there .. I'm new here
I'm sorry if this is not right place for this ..
Over the weeks, months, and years .. I lost my password for Log Files
Now, I wanna decrypt them or change the password ..
How can I do it ?
Sorry for bad English

Put simply. You can't.
It would make using a password a useless feature

Brute-force them..?

No.
6 character password ~= 1 month of brute forcing

That was dated August 11, 2007. There is no mention on how powerful the computer s + we don't know how long the users password is in this case.
So technically, it can be done with a small password or a powerful PC

Technically....
...ANY general estimated time for brute forcing is plain wrong and should never be taken as an 'estimate' (eg: Spunky's link). It highly depends on the encryption method and thus the time it takes to decrypt something.
eg: Given the same password, encryption method A might be brute forced in 10 days, while encryption method B will take 10 months, just because decryption in method B takes a while longer than A.
There is no way you can say 6 characters ~= 1 month.

Anyways, bottom line is, and will always be:
in practice it is impossible to decrypt an encrypted chat log if you don't know the password. There is no shortcut, backdoor, or whatever...
Lost password = Lost encrypted logs
