Autopager by Spunky on 08-24-2010 at 11:06 PM

Not sure if anybody will want this, but will post it in case they do.

Basically just an autopager script (made and tested in chrome; not tried in FF). Couldn't find anything like this already posted so I thought I'd go ahead.

If you use autopager already, I'm sure you'll already know how to import it.

xml code:

Works on all forum/sub-forum pages, latest posts and search results. I might be able to knock something up for the spam box too

EDIT: I've just noticed the information area in the top right (name, last login, PMs etc) only shows on the first page. Don't know why though...

You're amazing.

Can confirm it works fine in Firefox as well ;).

Firefox 3.6.8 :P

What exactly does it do?

Autoloads next page and appends to the bottom of the current  page.
RE: Autopager by Chrissy on 08-25-2010 at 11:10 PM

Is there anyway to make the current page replace to the next page instead of adding it on to the bottom? Thanks.

Apparently this is a Chrome equivalent.

Assuming it copies the FireFox version, you just add in the code from the first post....somehow

Either I'm a complete idiot, or this is the most hard-to-use extension I've ever tried.

RE: Autopager by prashker on 08-26-2010 at 12:50 AM

Apparently this explains how to add rules into it.

RE: Autopager by Chancer on 08-26-2010 at 01:11 AM

Yes, I did that, but it didn't work.
Edit: Weird, now it did. I guess I had to restart Chrome once after installing the extension.

Edit 2: WOOOOOHOO! I'm in an endless loop! It keeps loading the 2nd page over and over and over.

It is quite difficult, that's why I posted the rules. Did you change anything at all in the rules? There's no reason it should be loading the second page.

It grabs the next page (linked to from the >> symbol in the navigation area) and appends it to @id="container".

Chancer, which pages seem to loop?

Well, it's working alright in Chrome 7.0.503.dev [since when it's 7.0? ._.]

:wee:
I only refreshed all tabs, and importing the rules was a simple right click>[local] import rules :P

The last page of every topic.

That's pretty odd. Mine tried to load the next page and then just stops when it realizes it's on the last one
RE: Autopager by Chancer on 08-28-2010 at 01:01 AM

Are you using Chrome? I cleared all my rules, then added it again, still the same bug.

Edit: It's also happening on other sites, maybe it's not your fault, but the extension's.

Edit 2: I've found a better solution: FasterChrome. Seems to work with almost any page, no need to add rules. However, if it doesn't work, you won't be able to add, aswell.
