Is there anyway to disable those annoying ads at the bottom of the messenger there?

If you're using 2011 then the ad space and the windows live messenger logo will remain there. But the actual ads wont load and the big ad is gone.

if you have any skins applied then all ad removers will not work at all.

Block rad.msn.
Never seen ads since.
