My problem is not "after close msn and reopen its gone" problem.
My problem is it does not show up after install. I have tried to close msn and restart it but it still not there, even restart computer and reinstall many times.
i have tried with msn version 8.1 and version 2009 but it still not there.
Im using the newest version of Messenger Plus.
My current msn version is version 2009 Build 14.0.8117.416
the Messenger Plus icon doenst appear and none of the functions appear in the chat either.
i don't use any add-on like SweetIM or anything.
And im using windows XP SP3.
Sorry for my bad english. Please help me.

Also, are you running Windows Live Messenger in compatibility mode?

without compatibility mode my msn show error 80071392 and won't login.
But now i have my problem fixed thanks you.

That error happens when you're trying to log into a second instance of Windows Live Messenger on the same computer with the same e-mail address and password.
Try restarting your computer and see if that helps
