Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (English)
WLM: 2011 Build (15.4.3508.1109)
MP!: 5.00.0.702 Released: 08/02/2011

When right clicking on contacts, I don't get a "Messenger Plus Features" menu for ALL contacts. There seems to be no reltionship between whether it's a Facebook or WLM contact (or both), whether they are online or offline, or (relating to my post in another thread) whether I have spoken to them since installing the latest Plus!

Anybody else confirm this?

Yes.

Note: both are WLM contacts, and both were also online on Facebook. I haven't talked to any of those since installing Plus! 5, and I did talk to both before installation.

May be a coincidence, but all my contacts with multiple emails haven't got that menu [they aren't the only ones, though].

IIRC this was also so in Plus!4.9, and if I'm not mistaken it had something to do with the type of emails and/or multiple emails/duplicated contacts. I vaguely remember some posts about this on the forums.

That thread mentioned at least one option being available, whereas the entire menu is missing here.

I don't think I have anyone at all on my list with 2 emails

Are you able to open the contact information window from the Plus! menu in your chat windows?

I guess that's obvious but is Plus! correctly loaded in the main window?

Any skins/scripts applied?

Agaeti, all scripts disabled. But get the same results without skins.

The menu is not shown if you have the same contact on two different networks (Windows Live, Facebook, Yahoo!), even if they only have a single e-mail on each account. Looks to me that it's what's happening on your side, but I may be wrong.

Okay so I've got a few more questions for you (Spunky) :
- Do we agree that you don't have the context menu for ANY of your contacts?
- Have you manually renamed your contacts?
- Could you send us (either in the thread or via PM) a screenshot of the tooltip you get on a contact that doesn't have the context menu? (in the contact list)

Don't like to bump, but I've left this for 4 days and still don't know what the status is with it.

Is the menu missing for contacts that are not on two or more networks, and have only one e-mail? If yes, there's a bug, if not, that's how it's supposed to work.

Anyway, you've got us thinking and we decided to rework that feature so it's not that ambiguous, and it'll possibly will work with any (and every) contact too :-)
