Hey guys,

Ever since I installed MsgPlus WLM opens up in random intervals and signs in.

I have noticed that it did this before as well but it used to close itself automatically before it signed in.

Any idea why this is happening?

I'm using WLM v15, Plus v5, and im on Win7 Pro x64.

Hey there!

Does that happen after you've already signed in? Could be due to you losing connection. Perhaps this guide will solve your problem:

No it even happens if I haven't run WLM, and I have it disabled during start up.

And when you close Messenger it launches again later? And when you unstinstall Messenger Plus! the issue disappears?

Messenger Plus! is only loaded when Live Messenger is started, so something else must be launching Live Messenger. When you boot your PC and look at the taskmanager before you see Messenger pop up, is msnmsgr.exe running in the background?

After I uninstalled Plus it still happens but it doesn't sign in, it closes itself automatically, and it happens much less frequently.

It doesnt launch during the boot process but later on, around 30 mins after boot.

I think it is something else launching it too now, maybe some sort of browser addon or some helper program that comes in the live essentials package.

Could even be a virus I guess ^o)?

I'm out of ideas with the information given, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to run a full system scan with anti-virus and spy-ware removal tools.
