I'm trying to install MsgPlus on my laptop but it doesn't seem to load, the Plus! icon and menu doesn't show up in my messenger.
I have Live Messenger Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416) because I don't want Messenger 2011
I tried to install the latest Plus 5.01 but it didn't show up in the messenger after installing.
I even tried to install the older 5.00 and 4.XX versions. None of them work.
I also reinstalled Live messenger, cleaned up all Folders after uninstall, checked for other Messenger Plugins, uninstalled Microsoft Security Essentials, etc..
deactivating all non-MS services and all autorun programs with msconfig doesn't help either..
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium X64 and my user account is running in administrator mode.
Any Ideas?

same...happen to me too.. done all the reinstall, install older version doesnt work too..

Still having the same problem... is there no way to fix it????
A friend had the same problem, he solved it by reformatting his PC.
I don't wanna reformat my PC, it will take days.. =/

The problem is caused by Nvidia optimus, you have to let it automatically set the preferred GPU.
