When I try to change my name using gradient text ( red and blue ) it turns to something like greenish yellow ,( I have myself in my contact list to see my name ) it appears normally plz help

Try using the default skin (Messenger Plus) and/or scene (Windows Live Messenger)
It may be colourisation being applied to the name at the top... What colour does it show up as without any formatting codes?

I think it stays as the last non-gradient color I've chosen even after choosing default themes, and turns black when I change my name

installed version:5.03.0.716 instead of 5.10.0.746 and everything is working great, I'll just have to wait for a solution before installing the new version
