Hello everyone.
I have a problem with the last release of Plus and my Windows Live Messenger 2009 (14.0.8117.416).
I'm still using 2009 because i prefer it to the newer one.

This is my problem...

I notice that i can't change status through the right clicking of Messenger icon on Windows 7 taskbar, like in picture below...

If i try to choose any status, nothing happen.
My only way for change status is open the Messenger window and change it there, see picture, which is obviously less immediate and a bit boring.

I tried to uninstall Plus and i notice that this problem completely disappears.
When i install it back, the problem comeback aswell.

I also tried to uninstall and reinstall Messenger, but nothing changed, so i guess that Plus is the problem.

There is something else that i can do ?

I can't do that like in the picture either, even on WLM 2011

Have you tried just hovering over the WLM icon on the taskbar and clicking a status in the "preview pane"?

Umm, sorry, i don't understand properly what you mean.

I've just tried and my status is changed with Plus! 4.90 (polygamy enabled).

I'm sure that in the past it was working for me aswell, i'm 99.99% sure.
But now it isn't, and i have Plus! 5.10.

Ah, thank you, but as Mnjul said that's only for the 2011 Messenger.

Same problem here. Actually, status is changed, but with a delay (about 5 minutes).
Also, following bugs happened:
WLM simply doesn't start (and many msnmsgr.exe appear in Task Manager process list);
WLM starts without my command (no option to (re)start automatically is checked).

I've already uninstalled, did a registry cleanup (by using CCleaner), reinstalled and it is still not working well.
Before installing 5.10 version, I was using 4.85 version and everything was just working fine.
Where can I get 4.85 version installer?

Same here !!
I also discover that the status change with a big delay.
And i also have those bugs: not starting anymore, many msnmsgr.exe (only way for make it start again is kill all of them first) and starting without my command.

I'm glad i'm not the only one, it definitely seems a problem of Plus! then.

I hope it can be fixed, i use Plus! from years and in the past everything was ok.

I join to the delayed status change bug, very delayed one indeed o.o

On the good side, the latest version of plus 5.10 sure improved the performance with WML 2009. I did had big issues with the version 5.10.0.740, but with the 748 one the performance is quite good.

I just installed the new version of Plus and everything is working perfectly fine now ! Thanks a lot !!
