I know Skype used to allow you to resize the video popout, right up until Microsoft bought them and stripped that feature for some reason. Would it be possible for a future version of the addon to restore this function? It's much simpler to have chat on one monitor and video on another, than to try to squeeze them both onto one.

Depends on what the API allows.
May this be why Skype with Plus! pops to primary screen? Because you moved either chat or the video popout to the monitor where Skype is not on?

Nope, I haven't used the video popout since Skype 4. It's utterly useless in the 5+ versions, due video being the size of a postage stamp when not in the main Skype window, hence wondering if resizing could make a comeback

I am not sure we could resize the optout, but maybe we could provide a new full size chat window. This way you could chat on one monitor and see a full size video on the other.
