I recent removed the latest version of MSN Live so I could downgrade cause the other one slow down my computer. When I reinstalled MSN2009 I did the steps to get it working so I wouldn't be forced to update by going into properties - compatibility - running for 2003(servicepack 1) and I was able to log in but Live plus isn't showing up. I've tried using both the latest version and the 4.9 but It's still not showing up in messenger. Any ideas/solutions?

Hi, I'm assuming you meant WLM (Windows Live Messenger) 2009 and not MSN 2009?
Have you read some of the older threads in the help section such as this one which covers some of the common issues that may cause the situation you are experiencing (such common ones are sometimes due to not entirely removing previous versions of Messenger Plus! or having other programs in your PC that do not operate smoothly alongside Plus!...
