Hi Everyone,
I need some help. I recorded a Skype Chat with Messenger Plus. While I was recording I went into fullscreen Skype chat mode for a few minutes and then back into window mode. I ended the call like I've done many times before. The video was encoded like all the times before. But when I checked the .AVI Video file, it was just a black screen at about the time when I went into fullscreen mode. It's a very important video chat so can someone give me any advice in how I could maybe recover it or retrieve it in any way ? Isn't there maybe stored anywhere on my harddisk the raw unencoded file as cache or temporary file which I can encode manually? I haven't restarted my computer yet because I was afraid of Windows maybe erases the cache or the temporary files. It's very important for me!

Unfortunatly, what you see is what you got.

There is no 'raw' file or something like that.
If it has recorded black screen then there is nothing you can do or find to 'recover' the original video.

In my case what happened was that after encoding I couldn't find any video.
I don't see even the folder where was supposed to be the file

There was an issue in a previous version that was solved with the release of Messenger Plus! (for Skype) 1.5 

Which version of Messenger Plus! (for Skype) and which version of Skype are you using?

I can confirm it's still an issue.
OS: Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit)
Skype version 6.1.0.129 (and also earlier versions).
Messenger Plus! version 1.5 and 1.8 at least, probably earlier also.

Resizing the window of skype, the video will still work, but as soon as you fullscreen the picture, the recording goes black.
Remark, this only happens if you wait a bit before making it full screen. If you make it full screen right away, it records fullscreen but goes black when you go out of fullscreen.

MsgPlus settings:
Automatically record calls
Automatically show preview dialog when recording
Show video compression dialog when stop recording
Quality: Standard Quality (3MB/min).

It's also very easy to see, as you can see the recording preview window goes black also.
