Internet Backbone Problems

There are some major internet backbone problems happening today. Here is a small list of some of the major routers on the internet that have stopped responding:

wdc-edge-05.inet.qwest.net
ge12-0-0.access1.hud-ny.us.xo.net
prairia-gw.customer.alter.net
lax2-core1.atlas.icix.net
dfw3-core1.atlas.icix.net
dallas1-br2.bbnplanet.net
router.mitchell.edu
atl1-core1.atlas.icix.net

Well I couldnt get here before... how do you do a check which yours run through? Tracert?
