I love Messenger Plus!, but I do prefer MSN Messenger's standard XML history to Plus!'s text logs.  Since I installed Plus!, however, the option to save a history in Messenger is disabled.  Is there anything I can do to turn it back on?

If it's really since you disabled Plus!, then I don't think there is a solution. I've heard about non-compatibility between the two log systems before, but I can use both without any problems.

In case we have any "hackers" here, I see I have a registry value MessageLoggingEnabled in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\PerPassportSettings\280716316, but it's a crazy binary value (I would've expected a boolean switch) and I don't know what to do with it.  Of course I can't say for sure it's the culprit anyway, but it would make sense to me if it was.
