O.P. Suggestion // Status Commands...
Hi,

I had an idea that could be implemented in the MSGPlus! Personalised Status.
Some people like to have Multiple-Away-Messages, this is good because it annoy's the user, and eventually get's them to shut-up :P

However, my idea was, that you could implement command's in this, like:
quote:
#Hi, im currently away, call back later...
#Im away atm
#Go Away
#Next time you talk i'll block
#/block

Then the block, would actually block the person as it is a MSGPlus! Command.

If this maybe to exterme, possible an Ignore Command, so it will just ignore the user (Aka: Not display messages)

This would be useful for when your busy, you can just rely on the Ingorer/Blocker to shut them up.

Following on from that, you could also implement something to go with this. So when the user change's there status back to "Online" then they will get a message like:
quote:
Notice:
We have blocked/ignored
The user: something@something.com
<UNBLOCK> <CANCEL>

<UNBLOCK> & <CANCEL> = Commands

I hope this is a good idea and can be implemented into MSGPlus!
I think it will benefit a lot of users.

Thanks,
Mike

As far as I know, this should already be possible :)

Well that was copied from CookieRevised
http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=29...d=282688#pid282688

However I do not like the idea of ignoring incoming messages due to the fact that they could be something important, and if you block them you don't have to worry about the fact that they are actually being sent over the server and you never got them...When I'm busy I use the Boss Protection mode, that stops anyone bothering me until I wish...I don't think there's an IRC style command to load Boss Protection mode but if they were it would be good for this...However your ignoring idea is a bit stupid when you can block people...

Thanks for your reply: Tochjo

And Oh: Anubis
1) Nothing was "Copied" from anywhere
2) Thanks for your "Opinion"
3) Boss Protection & Ignoring, What The Hell Is The Difference!? Someone Could Still "Give You Important" Information and your wouldent see it
4) If you block someone, again, you could miss some important information
5) Your have just said you dont like the ignore commands. Yet you said Block & Boss Protection is fine, Well personally. They both do, what you wouldent want the Ignore command to do

if u block someone, u would miss important information, but the sender would know that u didnt receive it. Ignore would be stupid because the sender would think you got the info, when u actually didnt.
