if i burn a dvd with a movie on it and go and try to play it on my dvd player in my living room would it work?

and is it possible to burn more then one movie on a dvd that is 4.7 gigs?

It should do. As long as you are definately using a DVD disc and your living room player supports DVD-R/RW discs.

I'm not sure if you can put more than one movie on a DVD. If you can, make sure that both or three (however many movies you want) can fit on the disc. Watch out on the file size.
