A couple of months ago I’ve tried to make a plugin to control Winamp within a conversation window.

Coded features:

• View file info...
  
• Play
  
• Stop
  
• Pause
  
• Next track
  
• Previous track
  
• Open File...
  
• Open URL...
  
• Change volume
  
• Mute
  
• Repeat
  
• Shuffle
  
• Advertise Song
  
• Send Current Song
  
• Advertise plugin

Not coded features (yet):

• Auto-Change nickname with current song title
  
• Configuration (save settings in the registry)

The IDE I use is Visual C++ 6 and this is the frist time I do something in C++.

I attach the source code hoping that someone can help me out to do what I want.

Also, new plugin programmers can learn something.

sounds cool! i'll download it and give it a go. Is it designed for Winamp 5?

Is designed for Winamp 5, but all the features (still) work in Winamp 2 and 3.

what commands do i put in the conversation window to control winamp. i dont seem to be able to find them.

frankiedaman you may go to Plus! -> Plugins -> wNiker! -> comand...
Or you may write it, something like /xwnpause (/xwn<option>)
