Hi everyone!

On my preferences, I clicked the 'hide the advertisment banner' box in the preferences.. But the advertisment banner is still there..!

How can i get rid of it?

Once you checked the box, did you restart msn messenger?

Are you signed in when you clicked that option? What versions of Windows, Messenger and Messenger Plus! do you use?

I had restarted a few times, but after the 6th or 7th time it finally disappeared..!!

has anyone noticed that there is a new advertisment banner now that shows through kinda flashing or somthin even if you have the boxed checked?...I got it happening on 2 diff pc's and it just started so i know its not me i dont think, but this pc here is running....

Although, this seems to be a known bug,
i never experienced troubles before.
The banners began to appear, after i had installed
Windows XP SP2.
Maybe, this is the cause?

No, I had this trouble occurring before I installed (or even downloaded) SP2...
