whenever i try to delete a folder on my desktop or somewhere else, i would always get a error message, it even does the same thing in safe mode...
any ideas how to fix it?

it's one of those messages that tell you if you want to send the error

yo, ive had this problem, i dunno how to fix it but to delete the folders just goto run - browse (doesnt have to b this) then find the folder
clik it and hit delete. its normally a corrupt file (thumbs.db most of the time or desktop.ini) in a certain folder

Have you made any changes since this started? (like installing/uninstalling programs).
Have you tried System Restore?
