i would like to know, if i get an e-mail and click the mail thing in msn messenger can i get it to open in opera insead of IE??

With StuffPlug NG, you should be able to open it in your default browser. Go to http://www.stuffplug.com and follow the instructions there (during installation you will need a validation key, you can get it there as well).

Make sure you check the option "Open Hotmail Inbox in default browser"; you can do this by going to Plus! > Preferences > Plugins > StuffPlug NG, clicking it and clicking Configure.
