i run kapsules, rainlendar, messenger plus windows, and a windows toolbar all floating on my dekstop all of which windows likes to hide on me..

i reverted to switching my "show desktop" link in my quick launch area to a shortcut to the file in my attachment. its an improvement over the windows shortcut in my opinion.

Yep... well, it performs the "minimize all" function which I discribed in my post. So, indeed, windows which don't have a "minimize"-function in their systemmenu wont be minimized, and this indeed includes programs such as rainlendar, kapsules, etc...

It is indeed a "solution" for the problem. Nice tip...
