i've been comparing AMSN for Linux with the Messenger for Windows and two main differences i found were
  - AMSN tells you when someone leaves or joins a conversation (this is pretty interesting because you can tell who opened the chat window and then closed it without saying anything *shy people*)
  - another cool thing is that using AMSN you can sign in on your gmail account.. i cant do that with Windows Messenger and i just got a gmail account
Is here someone, somewhere that can somehow recommend me plug-ins for this two features?

1) StuffPlug-NG has these functions, but also has alot of other and useful functions. But is only compatable with MSN Messinger not windows messinger. openConvo Is another plugin that does this.
2)You can Sign in on a gmail account with messenger. But you have to register it for a passport at www.passport.com.
