Hi There,

Well, it all started when I installed Messenger Plus! 3.20.100

Now, whenever someone sends me a file through MSN, and it is finished, it says:

Well, I then check my Received files, and I havent received it.

Now, I contacted my Virus Scanner Provider, and they told me how to stop it scanning for viruses. I've also unticked the box in the options and messages tab, and it just ticks itself again when I click OK

So, I emailed MSN Support, they said if I have:
Messenger Plus, FunWeb Products, Smiley Central, Trillian, Hotbar, www.mess.be

Third Party Applications, I should uninstall the ones I have. Well, the only one is Messenger Plus. So I uninstalled it, and I could then get files perfectly.
So, I got bored and re-installed  it, thinking it would be fine, and it isnt.

It again, wont let me have files.

Has anyon else discovered this, or is there a way to fix it..

I get that.  It's hit and miss for me, I always get a not received/successfully received message but it's not always in my received files folder.

That's something Plus! wouldn't do though. Plus! doesn't alter any MSN Messenger options... The problem might be somewhere else (but I'm not saying it is not Messenger Plus though!)...

I have to agree. I wouldn't think that it's a Plus issue.

When was the last time it worked properly?

Uninstall a couple a programs first (eg your anti virus and msn.)

Then install MSN. See if it works?

If so it may be your anti-virus cos it may not like your file. (I'm only guessing). Otherwise put your anti-virus back on.

Also check your C:\ and see everything that was added onto your PC after MSN. Most likely you should find the problem.

And Finally, Is your MSN an updated version?

Aren't they spyware, except Messenger Plus? Have you scanned your computer using Ad-Aware?

Thaks for your replys, I have done the following:

Removed MSN & Reinstalled It
Removed Virus Scanner & Reinstalled It
Cleared Internet Cache FULLY
Clear PC Cache FULLY
Scanned for Viruses & Spyware, Removed All

It still wouldent work

Remove MsgPlus!

It then worked...But I wanted to re-install it and now it wont work again, and I don't want to remove it because I use it regularaly.

Anyway, I don't have it at the moment, as I have MSN 7.0 BETA
