k i've downloaded msn plus, and everythign works, except for the emotion sounds, and the little butterfly that's supposed to be on that spot right above where you type, isn't there. can someone tell me what i can do to fix it??

First of all make sure the use of soundcommands is enabled: plus > preferences> instant messages > commands and tags (tab) check: "allow the use of commands and tags" and "allow sound commands" ( i have all options checked inthere)

In plus > preferences > general options > sound config (tab) choose MPEG1 codec...if that doesnt work switch codecs there.

If it still doesnt work...go to windowsupdate and update/reinstall Windows Media player.


Asfor not seeing the lil icon:
Plus > preferences > instant messages > general options (tab) check "enhance the formatting toolbar with  Messenger plus! features"

If u still don't see it after doing that:..are u using a skinned messenger?..cuz some cause that one to be invisible.

or you have to update your msn messenger to the latest version that would might help too

I updated my Mediaplayer, which is now a Media9series, and checked on all other items which is discussed in this threat.

I can see a black window poping up but still no sound.
Can it be any policy setting (its my business pc) which
stops me from playing emotion sounds
