Hi hi!
i just discovered the floating users
i know, shame on me, it's out for a long time but hey, i chat, i don't keep looking for new things
Many years ago i was an ICQ freak and the floating users on icq where so cool... now my favorite MSN has it also!! hehe
but ok, my requests:
- create a shortcut key (like ctrl+alt+F12 or whatever unused), so with that key you can hide or unhide all your floating contacts or re-show them. Because with some programs it can be very annoying to see the floating contacts, even when they are maximum-transparant.
- an option, in combination with the previous one, to set on or of, when your floating contacts are hided, that the floating contact shows up when they say something when the chatwindow isn't active.
- an option to set on or of that when a contact (that is not in front) says something, not only the name in the taskbar flashes, but also the floating contact box flashes (ICQ gnagnagna
)
TO GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF USE:
Given:
- some floating contacts are on the desktop
- option selected: hide offline contacts
- option selected: shortcutkey hide/unhide all floating contacts
Action:
-> A floating contact says something: the floating contact flashes
-> I press ctrl+alt+F12: also the online contacts are hided
-> A floating contact says something: the floating contact box does nothing, is invisible
-> I press ctrl+alt+F12 again: the hided online contacts are unhided
Given:
- some floating contacts are on the desktop
- option selected: hide offline contacts
- option selected: shortcutkey hide/unhide all floating contacts
- option selected: unhide when contact says something
Action:
-> I press ctrl+alt+F12: also the online contacts are hided
-> a contact says something -> the hided desktopcontact shows up, flashes, and re-dessapears when i open the chat window
i hope you understand what i mean..... greetz! and THANKS!!
