It isn't working with MSN Messenger 7.0 at the moment, as Messenger Plus! 3.40 isn't actually fully complete, its still in its BETA form, so it won't work for about 2 weeks afaik.
The "Hide advertisement banner" is not available in MSN Messenger 7 anymore. The reason is not entirely technical, I just felt this option had not its place in Messenger Plus! anymore, thank you for understanding.
Please remember BETA software does not reflect the quality of the Final product. You use BETA software at your own risk without support from the developers (most of the time). If you aren't a Beta Butterfly you shouldn't be using the BETA version of MSN Messenger in the first place, so you can't complain.

Patchou adds an optional sponsor to earn money. It's optional, but if nobody installs it, Patchou doesn't earn money, so Patchou wants that people installs the sponsor (maybe not all his users, but some percentage). In this scenario, isn't it strange that Patchou removes the banner, that gives M$ money? I understand Patchou and his decission. The same as Patchou, behind Messenger there are lots of programmers that have to earn money. M$ gets that money from the ads in messenger. It's illogical that Patchou removes it, imo.

I'm sure that someone else will come out with the patch to remove the banner, so sit tight.
Search the known Messenger related sites, they all have patches for it...
