1. uninstall plus! (make sure your Internetbrowser is fully closed, from taskbar and systray also)
2. If you have used a spyware/adware removing program: reinstall with sponsor, if not go to point 3.
3. reboot (if you skipped point 2 go to point 5 after this)
4. uninstall directly
5. reinstall plus! and choose NO to the sponsoragreement

I dont understand bout the 2nd step..can please explain it to me briefly? Anyway, Im also encountering the same problem.

It means that if you ran anti-spyware software such as Ad-Aware or Spybot Search & Destroy to try and remove the adware, then you must re-install Messenger Plus! with the sponsor, then uninstall Plus!

if u used a program like ad-aware, u have to reinstall plus! WITH the sponsor (remember that the sponsor is optional, hence when u are installing Plus! it will ask u if u want to install the sponsor. simply say "i agree, install the sponsor" and after that uninstall Plus! following the steps
