Most of my files chat logs are encrypted, but I am unable to encypt any others.  Everytime I try to do so, i get an error message telling me that my computer is unable to encrypt files!

Someone please help!

If you have an older Windows version, installing the latest updates from Windows Update at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com might work

I have been encrypting my chatlogs for the past year. And as I remember I used only one password. However, now I am unable to open the log for May2004, as it says that my password is invalid. Is there any way of getting hold of my password again? Or is it some bug?

It's a known issue which has been fixed. Unfortunately, those inaccessible logs are lost forever.
