i don't know if anyone else has had this problem.. but i'd really like to use msgplus.. the problem is that i get up to the install part but then this "Fatal Error" pops up and says "The Messenger Plus! Hook couldn't be installed properly on this system."
does anyone know how to fix it so i can install it???

the version of my messenger is: 6.2.0137
and i tried to install msgplus-325

Hi. Since Messenger Plus! dosnt work on 6.2 try downloading the new version of MSN,  the 7.0 version. To downlaod the 7.0 version just go this website:

For MSN BETA 7.0 go to:

For Messenger plus! 3.40.112 BETA go to:

And to remove 6.2 go to Add or remove programs in control panel then remove MSN messenger 6.2.

Messenger Plus! v3.25 is compatible with MSN Messenger 6.2 so I don't know what your talking about. I am going to email Patchou a link to this thread or if he is online on MSN I will send him the thread. If he doesn't respond within the next few days I will get you an address where you can email him. And you would want to email him with as much detail as you can. But I will see when I get home if he is online.

The account that you are installing Messenger Plus! on, does it have Administrative Privileges? If you go to the path of Messenger Plus! (usually C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\ unless you changed it) what files do you have and what folders do you have?

Which Window version and service packs do you have? Which drive is Windows installed on? (C:\) Do you have any other external drives? Do you have any card readers for digital media from a digital camera? What drive letters do you have being used in My Computer and what are they?

You might want to try using the beta version because the beta I have seen that the beta version uses a diffrent way for hooking messenger...
