hi im just about to finish my plugin in vb

and i wondered if there is a table or anything so i can see the colour commands i tried press ctrl & K and i see the colour chart i choose red for instants "4" and put it in VB sResult = "4" & "blah" but the text does esnot appear Red it just sends a blank messange :/

You also need the character that appear when you press Ctrl + K
Look in the MPPluginConst file in the api documentation for it.

sResult = Chr(nCCColor) & "4blah"

That should do the trick I think...
