When i try to sign in with my normal account on MSN Messenger 7.0, it just keeps trying to sign in but nothing will happen. It will also disconnect my cable internet. I've tried on other computers on my network but the same thing happens. Other MSN accounts work on my computer and my account works on my friends computer. Does anyone know what the matter is?

firewall settings. check those

my firewall isn't on and i can't turn it on. is that the problem?

try checking that your firewall is off and double check you have the write name and password i did that to me before but it did it to all my accounts and it was because of my firwall so thats the only thing i can think off

Try closing the process by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del --> Proccesses and finding your firewall process closing it --> close your msn messenger process and retry
