Some suggestions to the Custom Sounds....

1. "Add new catagory" (sp). It be nice to have/create other choices then the ones given
2. After adding a sound in the Custom Sounds prefrences window, it lags as it reorders all the list. Any way to fix that?
3. .plp files can be directly imported into Custom Sounds by means of a double click from anywhere in Windows.
4. A drag-drop of a audio/.plp file from anywhere in Windows onto the Custom Sounds icon can automatically import that sound skipping some of the wizard.
5. A hover over the Custom Sounds icon produces a little hovering yellow box message saying something about custom sounds (looks for professional and intregated)
6. A powerful built in search engine. By cat, statistics, name, language, type, length, poly/mono, author/creator ect. Also search the Plus! server, Dempsey's database, and use Google to find other .plp files.

If i think of any more Ill post them.

Sounds are broken up in to categories on the server too. Doing so would require that we add the ability for users to add categories to the server themselves and it would easily get out of control.

As has been mentioned before, the search facilities will most likely never be included. Take a look at the current size of the database, it's massive and would pressure the server with users searching it constantly.

Im talking client-side. The categories and search would only be on my PC, with my local settings, and my sounds. Nothing server-side.
