O.P. Huh?  Messenger Plus won't run when Msn Messenger is launched
Hey,

Since I installed msn messenger 7 and messenger plus 3.5 i've been having problems with messenger plus not running or auto-launching when msn messenger 7 (official) is run. I've reinstalled msgplus twice and the same problem keeps occuring.

I've also gone through the messenger plus options and made sure "Force Messenger Plus! to load when computer starts" was checked and active (although ive never had to check this before).

Has anyone got any ideas how i can fix this or even what could be causing it to happen. I've never had any problems with it running until now.

Cheers

Install the latest version of msgplus 3.51 from http://www.msgplus.net and in the options window under

General Options --> miscellaneous --> Messenger Attach Method

Select the "alternate" run mode. Restart windows and see if this fixes your problem :)

If Chestah's method does not work you could add it to the registrys manually.

To do this go to start then run and type 'regedit'.

Then go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Then right click run and goto new>string and type 'MessengerPlus3'

Then right click the new string>modtify and type "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe" /background

This should however all ready be there, but it may be worth checking.
