A friend of mine sent me a background skin for messenger 6 but i want to view it not as a skin how can i do this i have searched the HD for the pic but its not listed.

it will automaticly be set as your background for that person

I know that but what im trying to do is see the picture not as a background, i want to see the image away from messenger so i can take a closer look at it

ask him to actually send you the image

i wish it was that easy but he was sent it as a background aswell, this be my problem

go to C:\Documents and Settings\your account\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\

and when u see the files that are .dat i beleive just open them with paint or somethin like that
the hard part is finding which one it is there is so much

Can you do that for emos as well (in case you wanted to back them up or lost the original images) ?

Yes u can get emos and display pics just go to the correct folder

but dont try and make them a different size it wont work u need stuffplugNG or wtbw plugin
