In version 3.52.130 using of MSG Plus using 7.0.0777 of MSN on WinXPSP2 I have lost the ablity to enter non-English in the quick messages.  I can enter the message directly in MSN but in the quick text it comes back as ????.  Well really I can enter it in the quick text box and it looks fine but when I look at the saved data is switches to ????. Is there a setting to fix this?  I am assuming the quick text is not being saved as unicode.  I have set the logs to save as unicode but this did not help.  Is there a way to get the quick text to save a unicode?

Confirmed this bug...

After doing some search I found out that these Textboxes in Preferences are not Unicode-frendly:

• Contact List\Custom Names -> Custom Name
  
• Message Helpers\Quick Texts -> Message
  
• Personalised Status\Status Presets -> Auto-responder message
  
• Privacy Protection\Boss Protection\Protection X -> Message when hiding, Message when coming back

I will mail Patchou about this.

wops, sorry about that... it seems that I forgot to enable unicode richedits in version 3.52. For now, I suggest that if you are experiencing the problem, you downgrade to version 3.51. The next update will probably be released during June.

Patchou i also found another small bug in the quicktexts window!

When you hover over the area where you enter text in the quick texts section a help balloon appears telling the user the commands they can do , however once you click in any quick text typing area then this will not appear. For example you may click type some writing then what to see the help balloon again but it will not pop back up even if you click in other text areas.

Also after you have clicked this on one quick text, then every other quick text you go to edit will start with the cursor in the text box and this help message will not display again
