This might seem like such a n00b question. But I thought all .tk domains (as well as being bloody slow) were being greeted with this introduction.( see attachment)

Every single website I go to with .tk in the address I am greeted with a 15 second advert before I get to the actual website. But i've finally learnt all my other friends don't get this...why do i get this? And no one else? Am i going mental? Whats the deal...

I'm using google pop up blocker. Is that the difference? Or is .tk truly just attacking me because its bitter?

.tk recently started doing this. Your friends should get this ad as well; I don't know why they aren't. Having a popup blocker only blocks the popup ads, not the ones embedded in the page.

So either your friends are lying to you, or something's really messed up with their machines

No i was at my friends house tonight and went on his computer! Wanting to advertising my website i went on my website, expecting the stupid pop up to come up. But instead my normal website came up (with the .tk domain) and no stupid advert! I'm really angry that im getting it!

I saw it with my own eyes with one friend. and another of my friends says he doesnt get the adverts either!

my old tk doesnt give any ad either.. my new one does.. I dunt know why.. check your registartion's date and your friend's.. maybe it has something to do with it..

hmm i think there is no way of gettin rid of it..or maybe there is sometin u have to do like pay them to get rid of it

I noticed the same thing. My .tk is pretty old so I doubt that is teh problem. I see some pages with the popup, and the popup is much better than the stupid ad. Anyway, I will be paying for a new domain now...

Actually, that won't change the splash screen (at least I still have it), but it might change the pop-up. Intresting...

EDIT: Wow, it's gone Thanks! And the popup is gone, too.

i know that gets rid of the banner but what about the weird webpage which makes me need to click continue?

Surely changing the settings won't make a difference? Some people visit my website and get the 'click here to continue' rubbish but some other people do not. thats how the whole weird thing.
