is there a plugin that allows you to set the same thing as an auto message {ie. when your stats are set to away and some1 says hi it says "im asleep"} but it only says to 1 contact and whilst your stats are set as online?

You can actually set Online as your status, in Personalised Status window, and then use the Filter (i.e. Contact Selection) to select the contact whom you want to see the message... is that what you want?
