Why do i need to log in twice everytime for Messenger Plus to show the colors in my name?

I log in the first time, I see numbers but Plus is installed.

I log out and in again, and everything is fine.

This has only begun to occur since I have installed the latest version, all the other versions were fine. I have tried asking for help in chat, but no one talks in there

Can anyone help/explain???

I am not sure what causes it. But open MSN. if it is still numbers change your stats to something either than Online (I use busy)

and color returns and I change back to online.


There was a discussion about this somewhere else I forgot where tho.

I usually sign in as "Appear Offline", but this only happens when I first start the computer. Afterwards, even if I exit MSN, it's fine. But I'll try your suggestion next time I turn the computer on.

Sounds like MSN Messenger is starting before Messenger Plus! is.

hey that works! I changed from Appear Offline tp Busy and got color! thnx!!!
