ERGH! I forgot my password for the Messenger Plus lock. I can't figure it out!!! What do I do?

Dont couble post, people will help you if they can. if you are running Window XP, then i think you can hit control+alt+delete and then click the processes tab, find msnmsgr.exe, click on that, and hit end process

if you delete the key InstantLockPwd, the password should be removed

Sorry about the double post. I tried Ctrl+Alt+delete but it only closes the msn lock password thing.

Well I only have 1 or 2 msn plus

thats if they are talking about the preferences lock, but from what i gather they are talking about the option to lock messenger itself

I edited, look again
Delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\ [passporrt e-mail] \Preferences\InstantLockPwd, InstantLockShortcut and InstantLockStatus

oh well, too late

i doubt they want to go editing the registry that can get very messy
