For my nickname in the contact list u can change the color by ·$(number) and ·& for italics etc. but i do not know all of them. is there a list somewhere??

Rather than using the characters raw, use:
Ctrl+K to add colour
Ctrl+B to add bold
Ctrl+U for underline
Ctrl+T (IIRC) for italic
I think there's a couple more, not sure.
