Anyone else having this issue?

In MSN 7.5, I was able to see my contacts display pictures appear instead of the default msn icons.

How do I see those display pictures in the main window again?

Click on the two green arrows in the contact list and then tick "Show Details".

I think that avatar is too big

true. Is there any way to make them the smaller size?

I just want to know the method to decrease that size. I have googled it , but i have found no way.

dont think there is a way to make them smaller.. thats the  default size

Are you talking about Zahid's avatar and the filesize for it?... If so then there really is nothing in the rules against it... It doesn't give a specific filesize for it... All it says is it must load reasonably fast.

if microsoft gives the way to configure the avatar's size, that is very good.
